Isabelle and Joseph got to come over Friday night for a sleep-over. What a great time we had. Cousin Elizabeth also got to spend the night, so with a 5,6,and 7 year old we had lots of giggles and running around, but amazingly not any arguing! Elizabeth really ventured out at supper time by trying salmon patties (Isabelle was giving a great sales pitch, telling her it was a LOT different than what her Daddy puts on the grill), and she decided that she DID like them. Now forget the Kashi waffles for breakfast--she informed me that she didn't like that kind, and only eats pop tarts. And we know that she doesn't change her mind easily!! Hmm, is that from Mom or Dad? And speaking of Mom and Dad, they ended up staying here too, as their air conditioning went out during an electrical storm. The kids were already in bed when Teresa and Earl, with Alexandria, arrived, so this morning the kids got to go to the guest room door and peek in to see who the "surprise guests" were. More squealing! The 3 kids slept in the master bedroom with Ken and I, and we all slept good, so maybe we should try this more often. Wonder who was the most tired--the kids or me?!
