Food and more food

Isabelle got to come alone to spend the night with us as Joseph had gotten invited to a hockey game with a fellow kindergartner. We baked cookies and had a grand time on a girls only day. After mtg. today we had a going away potluck for Laura Kate G. who is returning to her field in Grenada after her 1 yr. home visit that included knee replacement. We meet in the home of Laura Kate's sister, and this is her home base while in the states, so we've enjoyed seeing her fairly often during the year. This week was Laura Kate's birthday and 9 of us took her out to a surprise lunch--she admits to being 49, but did say she'd been in the islands for 40 yrs!:). Laura isn't in the picture made of our mtg. She went to another mtg. a couple of miles down the road. Also missing in the picture is an elderly lady and 2 little girls, 5 and 7.
