On Sunday afternoon, before the b'day dinner, I took Isabelle and Elizabeth on a cart ride. The purpose of the ride was to enjoy the azaleas in bloom and find some good photo ops. Joseph, for some reason, thought it more fun to stay home and play on the computer. Boys!
A back yard just full of azaleas.
Note to Aussie g'parents: Isabelle bought this outfit with some of the birthday money you sent her.
This planting of azaleas behind Isabelle and Elizabeth is so tall and gorgeous!
A ten yr. old flower girl.
An 8 3/4 yr. old flower girl.
The two babies in arms and the 3 smallest kiddos leaning on table are not b'day people. L-R: Isabelle, Susan, Joseph, Lauren, Becky, Sarah, Earl, Jr. I don't know how Tony missed being in the picture, as he was the one who got everyone gathered for it!
Lily, the youngest of the 4 generations.
Generation 3 (or perhaps we shoud say Generation X.)
The greatest generation, the baby boomer, and the Y generation. Father (Jr.), son (Ken), G'granddaughter (Isabelle).
Remember how fun it is to play games in the yard after it gets dark? This shows the usual "cover your eyes and count to 100."
